Łotwa coraz bliżej euro

Latvia has announced that it wants to become the 18th Eurozone member state. MEPs discussed with Latvian government the adoption of the Euro in 2014 and heard why this is such a crucial issue for the country. Krišjānis Kariņš, Latvian MEP commented: 'what we’re looking for is increased trade and increased investment. By adopting the euro we take away this one layer of uncertainty.’ Available material includes general views, soundbites and an edited package.
